Vintage authentic Christian Dior silky halter evening dress and matching 100% silk shawl This iconic dress was designed in Fall 2003 by John Galliano for Christian Dior. Colour: Lavender Size: FR 36 / UK 8 / USA 4 Style code: 3W12068211 Dress is designed from a medium weight silky acetate/viscose blend. Shawl is 100% silk Dress is designed on the bias for a beautifully figure hugging look. Front has a thigh split and a flattering gathered design on the righthand thigh. Dress closes on the side with a row of 18 dress buttons all hand sewn by Dior textile artisans Dress measurement: Length: halter neck to hem 100cm Bust: 40cm Waist: 34cm Hips: 45cm Halter neck strap length: 44cm Material: 68% acetate 32% viscose Shawl measurement: Width: 60cm Length: 270cm Material: 100% silk Shawl has a silver Dior plaque sewn on a white Dior care label (dry clean only) Purchased in Dior boutique in Sloane Street, London in 2003 Condition description: Very good vintage condition. Worn once. Kept in storage for over a decade (No storage smell). Has a few tiny marks which are not visible unless very close up. See photos. Might come out with a specialist spot-on dry clean. Shawl has some small and faint marks, also hard to detect and only visible very close up.
