Reputed to withstand the weight of an elephant, Sir Edmund Hillary chose a Globe-Trotter case for his first expedition to Everest. While we wouldn't recommend trying the same at home with this red trolley version, it has been made from the same robust vulcanised fibreboard at the brand's Hertfordshire workshop using original Victorian machinery. Trimmed with leather and fitted with an easy-to-steer telescopic handle, its compact 20" dimensions comply with the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) carry-on regulations.
